Deployments Manager
Simon Giles is an experienced gaming operations and deployment specialist with a strong background in data analysis, product strategy and regulatory engagement. He brings 32 years’ experience with the Australian Federal Government, alongside 13 years in the gaming industry and four years with Mercury Group Victoria.
Simon plays a key role in the planning, optimisation and deployment of gaming products across Mercury member venues. His expertise includes analysing gaming performance, developing effective gaming room layouts, and ensuring venues are equipped with the right mix of machines to meet both commercial objectives and regulatory requirements.
At Mercury Group Victoria, Simon works closely with venue operators, Boards, manufacturers and service providers to deliver compliant, data-driven gaming solutions. He also oversees regulatory documentation and maintains strong working relationships with industry stakeholders and government bodies to ensure smooth and timely implementation of gaming changes.
