I have spent my entire career in the hospitality industry, beginning at the age of 16 in kitchen operations within traditional pubs. Over the years, I progressed through various roles and have held management positions since the age of 22. A few years later, I transitioned into the club sector, taking on the role of Manager at the Maffra Community Sports Club, where I proudly served for many years. During the onset of COVID-19, I pursued a new direction by establishing and operating my own café, which I continue to run today. This period also marked my shift from venue management to governance, serving as a Committee Member and having the privilege of holding the position of Vice President for multiple terms.
